Turkish Equestrian Federation (TEF) was established in 1923.

Today, TEF central office is in Kemerburgaz/Istanbul and home to 1.300 registered riders in 40 federated clubs. Ankara office is located in Beştepe Saim Önhon manege.

The equestrian sector in Turkey consists of show jumping, dressage, three-day event, pony and endurance competitions. The categories of the riders are separated as: children, juniors, young riders, seniors, veterans and amazones.

TEF’s mission is to spread awareness about riding in Turkey, popularize it among youth and ultimately create a lasting Turkish equestrian legacy that will allow equestrian culture in Turkey to be known and recognized both internationally and nationally.

The experienced TEF, which became autonomous in 2006 and is also a part of the General Directorate of Youth and Sport, invites all those interested in equestrianism to try this exciting sport. TEF’s goal is to establish generations of sportsmen to be able to compete in Europe with a medal target possibly in all disciplines of equestrian sport, with a concentration in all categories of show jumping and dressage.
